Lionel Tanen: You are easily confused
Maye Delk: No. Religious leaders of _any_ type should not participate in political affairs or controversies.
Violette Vanek: I find it amusing. but it can be very annoying. once a woman got right up in my face outside a shopping centre (there was some christian parade thing going on) and shouted JESUS LOVES YOU AND DIED FOR YOU.I replied of course. she didn't like the reply very much though xDxx
Dick Ovdenk: No, you're not stupid. I strongly advise you to steer clear of that stuff. Read Acts 19:19. It's part of the package of "curious arts" which includes seances, horoscopes, hypnosis, etc. Pray for wisdom and discernment. James 1:5 says "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. " Also, Proverbs is good for gaining wisdom.
Ardath Templer: only if money's involved
Porfirio Gartland: Most don't. They be! lieve God will reveal his plan in due time, and no one can truly say what it is beforehand. Therefore, few put any stock in horoscopes or any kind of fortune-telling. It's still fun to check it out, though.
Lucien Hellerman: NO! only Jesus/God loves you....God bless
Ninfa Asby: No, that's not stupid. You bring up a good point. i became a Christian about 2 years ago and I personally don't believe in horoscopes. i think their vaguely ironic, yet I don't think their true. My personal belief is, that if it's not coming from the mouth of God or one of His chosen then I'm not buying it. You might ask how do i know that the person doing the horoscope isn't one of God's chosen that's something that we as Christians will have to research for ourselves. don't
Randa Hessell: No Christians do not believe in horoscopes. The Book of Ecclesiastes says its like blowing in the wind!
Pei Heatherly: I am a Christian and I do not believe in horoscopes but it is fun t! o look. The bible tells us not to worry about tomorrow, just ! trust in God. He will take care of you so you don't need a horoscope. When you trust God, you can be assured that you will be okay, the road may get rough but through Christ, you can get through it.
Percy Seiger: I don't but every once and awile I will look at my just for fun (I don't believe what they say are true)
Rubye Bonnin: Christendom, by definition, means "where Christ lives and reigns", just as Kingdom means "where the king lives and reigns".
Raye Tredennick: Depends. Context is everything. Sometimes it comes with the qualifier "And you'd better love him back. Or else." I certainly find that annoying.
Arden Strachn: I don't, besides who do you think writes those things. It sure did not come from God.
Lizzette Wendroth: Not really because a dead person can not love so I don't let it bother me. Unless its zombie jesus. Now that guy is cool. He really knows how to party, you know, with like eating brains and such.
Roland Stampley:! Definitely not. Pay caesar's things to caesar, but God's things to God.
Darren Heling: I don't believe in horoscopes. I will agree that they are interesting, but they are farce. If you think you fit the profile of your sign very well, that's great. Read the other profiles too. How many of those describe you in one point or another?
Oswaldo Rayburn: How can the position of a heavenly body influence our life here on earth? The Bible says to avoid fortune tellers and the like, which would include astrology. God is the key to our future, not stars.
Corey Rohleder: The clergy can be active in their nation's problems but they should refrain from trying to encourage their viewpoint on their congregations.
Myesha Zerbe: Yes I believe in horoscope's, enchanment's, psychic's, ect. They are all real, I believe it's wrong to look to them. You should look to God for your answer's. He want's you to come to him. It was the fallen angel's who taught these t! hing's.
Sherri Drakos: well people like to think its reading the! future with stars.. buts its not... there are just stories behind certin stars etc ...and there are more than one story(ies) to each ethnic group. stars where for seasons, time , direction as well as folk lore with is probbly where horoscopes came from BUT... personaly i find them pretty neet alot of people would say its bad but its a matter of how seriously you take them...because its not suspoe to be THIS IS HOW IT IS...they are ment for a guide or a little help... or more help whatever...Show more
Frank Crummell: It's their prerogative. Their house, their rules.
Danica Timperman: "Manipulating you to become a christian." Lol what? Just like when your momma tells you she loves you its a way to manipulate you into loving her so she can leech off you when she is older...oh wait.
Sherita Gallati: Whenever priests get involved in politics, etc....it always ends up in a big bloody mess and a lot of innocent people get killed.Getting religion into politics! is like trying to put out a fire with gunpowder - there's nothing intelligent about religion, it's all based on the suppression of any intelligence and following the herd....Show more
Marielle Hedeiros: It is the frou, frou factor.
Seema Hosfeld: I do. Its a way of manipulating you to become a christian.
Torri Tippey: I'm not preaching to anyone, but there are verses in the bible that say that it is sinful to seek out or listen to people dealing in "witch crafts" which include many things like astrology (it list them). There are also verses in the bible saying speaking with the dead is sinful also, it says the dead know nothing of this world, I don't remember if it says they are no longer in existence, or they can not hear or answer because they are not here. I don't know which verses, but I do remember my pastor reading them in church sometime within the last year. I remember reading along with the actual versus, not just his interpretation of them.Perso! nally I don't believe there is anything wrong with it, they are fun to ! read, but I don't hold much stock in it. Most people (I did not say all) who claim to know how to read and interpret things like that are just making generalizations, reading your body language, and using psychology techniques. (I think that many people who claim to interpret the bible do the same thing.)...Show more
Barton Slisz: a little, but not at the fact that they are trying to convert me. i'm annoyed by their apparent willful ignorance about the nature of their god. i'm annoyed that they wont accept that god, even if he's real, isn't all-loving like they would think.
Wilfredo Muldoon: No. I'll just tell them "Santa and the Flying Spaghetti Monster loves you"
Ricky Frazer: In View of Jesus' admonition and his prayer to Jehovah :Â âI request you, not to take them out of the world, but to watch over them because of the wicked one. 16Â They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world. (John 17:15-16)
Manual Burtis: Why would we ! look to the stars for answers when we can look to the one who made the stars?
Brittney Inabnit: No, but some i'll take as a well wish, others i'll leave to their spite.Well Wish:Some say it as a means of well wishing. Example: Christian actually taking heed of what their bible says in regards to the words of their christ, to be loving of ones neighbor (loving doesn't mean to be accepting of sin), not to judge others etc then at the end saying "jesus loves you"Spite:Others say it out of spite hoping to get a rise out of you. Example: Christian answering questions with the intent to be rude "all atheists need to be [insert insult here]" followed with "jesus loves you"
Brian Freedland: it's confusing me!!!
Ollie Hamiel: Not normally. It is a bit silly, because USUALLY according to their mythology, I'm going to hell for disbelief. On the other hand, it means a lot to me when a minister friend of mine calls me a 'good Christian', because I know that he does not! use the phrase lightly and he has a good ethical mindset, and his part! icular vision of Christ is a great man (can't say so much for the visions that exist in the imaginations of some other Christians). I got a lot more annoyed when I was told that a dying friend would be 'taken care of by Jesus'. Mythologically speaking, she'd have been more suited to be one of Odin's valkyries, if you know what I mean.May her spirit never rest among those cold and timid souls who will never know either the joys of victory nor the agonies of defeat.
Margy Sandquist: Ignore them. If christians were more confident in God they would not have to prove it by shoving it down others throats. If they know Jesus loves you, why say it? especially to a non-believer. It will only push you farther from what they want you to find. They could silently pray for you. They should know that God knows your heart.
Georgianna Zollo: Thats why ;o)No unlike R&S they are actually trying to generate interest. We have no derth of participation, but some areas are downrigh! t dull...Show more
Denna Prudente: A horoscope should be treated as a chinese fortune cookie. One can read the text, find amusement and then go on with their life etc...God bless'
Oda Mauson: no. I mean, I look at mine for entertainment purposes, but it's considered a "false god"...because only God knows what your future holds...etc.
Hope Lundmark: who knows....we all would prefer clear guidelines and access to previous accts....doesnt that take up alot of space to have thousands of emails no one is using??
Manual Burtis: Absolutely not. Keep religion out of politics. It's a personal matter, not a national one.
Randall Twehous: Yep !! As it sounds as if they want to manipulate the rest of your life .... whilst you are alive or dead !Well i have news for you try it and you will see that i don't turn the other cheek !!
Joellen Zorrilla: My mother is Mormon and is quite into astrology, I think it depends on who the person is, what branch of C! hristianity, etc.
Tracy Huesso: Its callled Management. Whenever ! people get used to a certain routine, throw a change on them!
